Witnesses say they asked Britney why she shaved her head and her response was, “I’m tired of plugging things into it. I’m tired of people touching me.”

i can never not reblog this

T-Pain: “That was the most beautiful thing in the world. Do you know why she was shaving her head? Because it was so important to other people. She is like, “Listen. Don’t touch my hair anymore. Stop touching my hair.” People were like, “We’ve got to make your hair before you go outside. You can’t leave.” She went … “Now I don’t have hair. What you going to do?”

head-shaving as self care

American Beauty (1999)

This is a true classic. A father going through a mid-life crisis develops a love for his daughters best friend, while the daughter grows a special bond with the next-door neighbor. A semi love story that is uncommon and will captivate you for a full two hours.

You misunderstand the concept. This movie is about the seeking of spiritual fulfillment and not about a man going through a mid-life crisis. Lester Burnham is on a quest, initiated by desperation for spiritual fulfillment, and it is this quest that is widely misunderstood by critics who attempt to reduce the meaning of the film, by giving it just one.

Korean designers Je Sung Park and Woo Jung Kwon have developed an invisible umbrella that will keep you dry by repelling rain.  Consisting of a simple plastic stick that creates an artificial wind at the top, the ‘umbrella’ deflects raindrops before they hit you by sucking in air at the bottom. The intensity of this wind-shield can be varied depending on weather condition and number of people sharing the device—the length of the stick is also adjustable.

so it’s basically a force field
